Life in New Mexico started for me as a teacher when I left my home state, Indiana, and journeyed to blue sky and mountains for student teaching on the Navajo Reservation in Tohatchi, NM. I've continued here as a teacher for 15 years. I still have my license and love for children, but a medical situation called me to assist others with their own share of medical needs I enjoy accommodating everyday, like My husband and his egg allergy. Allergies and food ailments come in all shapes and sizes and I share the Lord's desire that we all can eat together, so I thrive to make every baked good delicious, gluten free, vegan, and nut free, as often as I can, and be fully open and clear with labels and packaging. My desire for hospitality continues to grow. I live and bake a long an incredible trail system with wonderful neighbors who generously took the time to teach me the trail system, and I want to teach it to others.
